General Terms of Use and Contracting
These General Terms of Use and Contracting (hereinafter, the “General Terms”) govern access to and use of the website accessible through the domain name https://oceanografic.experticket.com/ and its subdomains (hereinafter, the “Website”), as well as the purchase of tickets through the Website.
Simply accessing the Website or the APP grants the person doing so the status of user (hereinafter, the “User”) and implies acceptance of all the terms included in these General Terms. If you do not agree with these General Terms, you must stop any ticket purchase transaction through the Sales Channels.
By accepting these General Terms, the User states:
- That they have read, understood and accepted what is set out here.
- That, if they are going to purchase any product and/or service, they have sufficient legal capacity to do so.
- That they accept all the obligations set out here.
- Ticket purchase system
To make a purchase, the User must click the “buy tickets” tab and select the visit date in the calendar. Next, they must choose the ticket type and the visit session if sessions with set times are shown for that day. At checkout, if the details are correct, they must click Buy. Finally, they must enter their personal details* and proceed to payment after accepting the General Purchase Terms.
Once this process is complete, you will receive a purchase confirmation email.
*Contact details are important because if the visit is changed or cancelled, we would contact the user.
- Email: To send you the tickets.
- ID number (DNI): To identify you unambiguously in case of any issue.
- Credit card: To process payment.
The prices of the products shown on the website include Value Added Tax (VAT).
If you purchase a ticket type with any kind of discount, you must show your supporting ID at the entrance. If you do not meet the requirements, you must pay the difference in the ticket price.
Purchasing a ticket implies compliance with the instructions for using the facilities displayed at the entrances to the venues and at www.oceanografic.org.
You must keep your ticket for the entire visit and show it to our staff when requested. The company reserves the right of admission and to change the programme.
The combined ticket for 2 or 3 venues is valid for 2 or 3 consecutive days, with no possibility of repeating a visit to the same venue, depending on the venues purchased.
Payment method
AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. accepts only credit or debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and/or similar cards) for purchases made. The card used for payment must be issued by a bank or savings bank.
AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. confirms your order at the time payment is made. All payment solutions are secure and guaranteed by banking and financial institutions. However, the User/Customer must report any improper or fraudulent charge on the card used for purchases by email to info@oceanografic.org as soon as possible so that AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. can take the appropriate steps.
Right of withdrawal
AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. informs you that once tickets have been purchased, refunds or cancellations are not accepted.
Before processing the purchase, the user must ensure the accuracy and suitability of the details entered. Not being able to attend the visit or making a mistake when purchasing the ticket are not grounds for a refund.
Notwithstanding the above, if the amount of a purchase has been charged fraudulently or improperly using the payment card number, the cardholder may request that AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. cancel the charge, provided that prior filing of a police report for these events is proven.
The refund of that amount will be processed by written claim, which must be accompanied by the documents (police report) proving the loss or theft of the card used to make the payment.
Processing of personal data
In accordance with current data protection regulations, as well as regulations on information society services and electronic commerce, the user agrees that the personal data provided at the time of registration, or any other data provided to Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL to access some of the services on the website, will be added to files owned by this company, for the purpose of facilitating the provision of the requested services, carrying out statistical studies of users registered with Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL to help design improvements to the services provided, and managing basic administrative tasks.
Likewise, the user gives their consent for Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL to share their data with the group of partner companies of Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL, solely for the purpose of carrying out and improving the provision of the agreed services, always in compliance with Spanish legislation on the protection of personal data.
Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL undertakes to comply with its obligation of secrecy regarding personal data and its duty to treat it confidentially, and for these purposes adopts the technical, organisational and security measures necessary to prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, in accordance with current regulations.
In any case, the user is responsible for the truthfulness of the data provided, and Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL reserves the right to exclude from registered services any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to any other legal actions that may apply.
Any registered user may at any time exercise the right to access, rectify and, where appropriate, cancel their personal data provided, by submitting a written request by email to Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL at protecciondatos@oceanografic.org or by using the contact form.
Complaints, claims and requests for information
The User may send complaints, claims or requests for information to the Customer Service Department of Avanqua-Oceanogràfic S.L. by emailing info@oceanografic.org.
AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. will respond to complaints received as soon as possible and, in any case, within a maximum of ten business days from the submission of the complaint.
AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC, S.L. has official complaint forms, which the User may request from the Customer Service Department at the visitor centre.
