Sleeping in the Oceanogràfic
Do you want to feel like a fish in the sea? Are you ready to close your eyes below sharp teeth? Do you dare to sleep among sharks?
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Activity recommended for students from 3rd to 6th grade. The content is adapted to each group.

WHERE CAN YOU SLEEP?
🦈 SLEEPING WITH SHARKS 🦈
In HIGH season* the activity will take place with a minimum of 40 people.
*Only available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In LOW season the activity will take place with a minimum of 15 people.
The maximum capacity of the tunnel is 30 people, reservations from this number will sleep in the ring, next to the tunnel, in the same aquarium of Oceans.
🐠 SLEEPING ON THE REEF 🐠
Available only in HIGH season* and will be done with groups between 20 and 40 people.
*Only available on Mondays and Tuesdays.

- 9:30h > Lago Vivo.
- 10h > Free visit to Oceanogràfic.

🐠 SLEEPING ON THE REEF 🐠
Discover during the night the threats of climate change and its consequences on marine species. All this in the largest aquarium in Europe.
DAY ONE
- 20h > Welcome to the Oceanogràfic.
- 21h > Dinner at Restaurant Océanos.
- 22:15h > Activity.
- 23:15h > Preparation for sleep in the Tropical Aquarium.
- 00:15h > Good night, we turn off lights.
DAY TWO
- 8h > Good morning.
- 8:45h > Breakfast at Restaurant Océanos.
- 9:30h > Lago Vivo.
- 10h > Free visit to Oceanogràfic.
WHAT FACILITIES ARE VISITED?
- Arctic.
- ARCA del Mar.
- Tropical.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?
- Suitcase of 55 x 40 x 20 cm (IMPORTANT: If it is larger than these measurements, the Oceanogràfic will not be able to store the suitcase in its facilities and the owner will have to deposit it in the payment locker).
- Sleeping bag.
- Mosquito repellent.
- Comfortable footwear.
- Personal hygiene products.
- Eye mask, in case you need complete darkness for sleeping.
- Canteen for drinking during the night.
EXPERIENCE PRICES
- 95€ > ‘Slepping with sharks’ or ‘Sleeping on the reef’ + Oceanogràfic ticket.
- 100€ > ‘Slepping with sharks’ or ‘Sleeping on the reef’ + Oceanogràfic ticket + Museu de les Ciències ticket + Hemisfèric ticket.
HOW TO BOOK?
1⃣ Fill out the form you will find on this page or click here.
2⃣ The Oceanogràfic’s reservations team will confirm the request within 48h-72h.
3⃣ Two months before the scheduled date of the activity, 25% of the total amount must be paid. In order for the reservation to be accepted, it is essential to provide the allergens and other food specifications of the group.
4⃣ Fifteen days before the scheduled date of the activity, the remaining 75% must be paid. If payment is not made, the reservation will be cancelled.
In the event that a member of the group is unable to participate in the activity, in order to request a refund, it is essential to provide a medical report proving the absence. Up to 10% of the group’s tickets may be refunded with medical proof.
In case of cancellation without proof of cancellation, cancellations will be accepted up to 5 days in advance, after which time the activity fee will not be refunded.
- UP TO 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE: FREE OF CHARGE.
- UP TO 15 DAYS BEFORE: 25% OF THE RESERVATION WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
- UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EXPERIENCE: THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE RESERVATION WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
