Tropical seas stretch around the most equatorial area of the planet

Tropical seas have an average surface water temperature of 25ºC. Their waters are known for their high transparency and the large amount of solar radiation they receive. These warm seas allow the development of the greatest marine biodiversity on the planet.

At the back of the room is one of the Oceanogràfic’s most beautiful aquariums, as it recreates a living coral reef.
